Dream It, Believe It, Do It!
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security. Benjamin Franklin
Those who profess to favor freedom and yet depreciate agitation, are people who want crops without ploughing the ground; they want rain without thunder and lightning; they want the ocean without the roar of its many waters. The struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, or it may be both. But it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand; it never has and it never will. Frederick Douglass
No one should negotiate their dreams. Dreams must be free to flee and fly high. No government, no legislature, has a right to limit your dreams. You should never agree to surrender your dreams. Jesse Jackson
Liberty without learning is always in peril and learning without liberty is always in vain. John F. Kennedy
A Note from Tom:
We live in a society where we often take liberty and freedom for granted. Yet freedom and liberty can only be maintained if we know our history and are willing to protect our future. This past weekend in the United Kingdom was another example of a few radicals willing to unleash terror on an unsuspecting population. As we celebrate our Independence Day holiday, please remember the thousands of individuals who have perished in battle to protect those sacred ideals of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Happy Fourth of July!
